How do I order?

A.

Place items in your cart and follow the checkout procedure.  You can buy online 24 hours x 7 days a week or place phone orders during our business hours - 10am to 4pm EST

Are my prices locked at time of order?

A.

Yes, the price is locked as soon as you confirm order at checkout and receive an order number.  You will receive an email to confirm your order with details of items purchased and payment instructions.

How can I be assured I will receive my goods?

We are Australia’s leading bullion dealer with a proven track record.  We work closely with the Perth Mint and are their worldwide primary distributor alongside approved PAMP distributor and suppliers of  the US Mint, Canadian Mint, Austrian Mint products.

Why do the  prices change every couple minutes on your website?

A.

Spot prices for gold and silver are like shares, they move by the second live during trading hours, each product is derived from the spot price hence the movement of the product pricing.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, via paypal. A 3% surcharge applies for all credit card and PayPal transactions.

What are your payment terms & conditions?

A.

You must intitiate the transfer within 24 hours from order.

Q.

My bank takes more than 24 hours to clear funds, is that OK?

A.

Yes.  All we ask is that you initiate the transfer within 24 hours.

Q.

Can I deposit a personal or bank cheque into your account?

A.

 

No.  Personal and bank cheques take 5-7 days to clear.  We will not hold your price or stock for this time.  Please make transfers in cash or electronically to lock your price and reserve your stock.

Can I come to your office and pay cash over the counter?

A.

Yes.  Cash payments of up to $5000.00 are ok. Alternatively you can pay via EFTPOS. Please ensure your EFTPOS limit is at least your order amount.

Will you accept part payments?

Unless you have specifically pre-arranged with us, we will not accept part payments.

How will I know you have received my payment?

A.

Your will receive an 'order status update' email confirming your payment has been received and items are ‘awaiting shipment’. You can check this by loggin into your account at. http://bullionmoney.com.au/login.php

When do you complete payment reconciliations and send order confirmations?

A.

Our accounts receivable team do bank reconciliations prior to 10.00am each day.  An order status update with payment confirmation will typically be sent prior to 11.00am each business day. Sometimes new transfers take 2-3 business days for payment to clear.

I did not receive an email confirming my payment has been received?

A.

Please check the following:-

  • ·         Has our email been sent to your junk or SPAM email folder?
  • ·         Did you include the order number on the payment description?
  • ·         Has the money been deducted from your bank account?
  • ·         Did you make payment for the full amount?

Do you have ID verification requirements?

Yes.  Like other financial institutions we are required by law to “know our customer” through third party ID verification.

When will ID be requested?

A.

Orders shipping within Australia with a value over $5000 or at our discretion.

I am an INTERNATIONAL customer, do I need to provide ID?

NO.

Do I need to send you my ID prior to placing an order?

A.

No.  You can place an order before sending ID.  Our staff will contact you if/when ID is required.

Will you ship my order if I do not send ID?

What are the ID requirements?

How do I submit my ID forms?

We do not provide any individual information to AUSTRAC or any government department unless the transaction is deemed suspicious.

Your order will be cancelled and you will incur fees and charges.

Delivery & Shipping

Q.

Do you ship Internationally?

A.

Yes. We use FEDEX only to ship international shipments. Please check with your local authority for importing of bullion rules and regulations/taxes.

Q.

How much does it cost to ship bullion?

A.

This varies on the order value, metal mix, weight and destination. You can calculate shipping using our cart. Simply add the products and the right QTY in your cart and click estimate shipping.

Q.

Is the order insured?

A.

You have an option to take out insurance at checkout. Insurance is 0.6% of metal value. ($6 per $1000)

Q.

Is it safe to ship bullion?

A.

Yes. We Discretely ship bullion to your nominated address. All local Australian packages are discretely marked.

Q.

How do I know if you have shipped my order?

A.

Your will receive an 'order status update' email confirming your order has been shipped your order status will change to ‘Shipped’ and you will receive a tracking number for your package. Please regularly check the tracking number to keep track of your parcel.

Q.

Do I need to be home to collect the shipment?

A.

No.  The courier will leave a card with instructions on re-delivery or collection at your local Post Office.  Each delivery requires signature.

International Shipments via FEDEX can be collected at depot or re-attempt of delivery made. Please keep an eye out on the tracking number.

Can I allow a third party to accept my delivery?

A.

Yes as long as you have notified us of this person prior to shipment of the order.  Please note allowing a third party to sign for your delivery may void insurance unless validated by us in advance.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, Please indicate by clicking the pickup option on check out. Please call us to ensure your items are ready for pickup prior to coming in.

Will you ship to a PO Box?

A.

YES in Australia ONLY.  All PO Box deliveries are insured.

How do I track my shipment?

We send you an email with a link that enables you to track your order on the internet in real time.

How long does it take to ship my order?

Most orders are dispatched within 3 days of cleared funds.  This may vary depending on market conditions. You will receive email communications that provide an ETA for your order.

The buyback price is based on live spot prices. Spreads can vary due to market conditions, supply, demand and inventory.  We will offer you a buyback quote for which you have 20 minutes to accept.

How do I sell to Bullion Money?

A.

The easiest way to sell your bullion is by calling us directly or coming into our office and speaking with our qualified staff.

I am not local to Sydney, how do I sell to Bullion Money?

A.

Simply agree a lock in price over the phone

Send the goods to our office (we can arrange delivery for high value items)

We will inspect the goods purity and condition

Transfer the funds to your nominated account within 3 business days.


Unallocated Bullion Purchases

Q.

Is my unallocated purchases backed by physical bullion?

A.

Yes. All purchases are backed by a pool of physical bullion in our vaults

Q.

Is there a minimum or maximum ammount of bullion I can buy?

A.

Minium purchases of gold is 1oz and minimum purchase of silver is 1kg. There is no maximum limit.

Q.

Is there a timeframe for keeping my unallocated bullion?

A.

No. You can sell back or take physical anytime or wish to keep as long as you like.

Q.

Will I be issued an invoice/statement for my unallocated purchases?

A.

Yes, you will be issued an invoice for your purchase when funds have cleared into our bank account. We will also email you a Statement summary of your holding at each financial year end. You can also request for a summary statement anytime.

Q.

I dont want to take delivery of my bullion, how do I sell back my unallocated bullion

A.

Simply call our office during trading hours and we can lock the deal based on our live price quoted in our Unallocated bullion page here.

Q.

When and how will I get my money when I sell back my unallocated bullion?

A.

We will wire transfer the funds within 72 hours of locking the sell deal. You can opt to take the money in a cheque.

Q.

I dont want to sell back my unallocated bullion how do I take delivery of my bullion instead?

A.

Simply call our office or email us your request and advise how you would like the bullion. Your option for bar delivery are below (baring charges vary depending on size of bars);

  • Gold - 1kg, 500g, 10oz, 250g, 100g, 50g, 1oz 99.99% fine gold bars. (PAMP or Perth Mint)
  • Silver - 1kg 99.9% fine silver bars (PAMP or Perth Mint)


The bars will be sent via the appopirate delivery method withing 7 working days.
